Description - Providing the Brazilian legal field with a high level of legal research since 1953, Revista da Faculdade de Direito UFPR (UFPR Law School Review) is one of the oldest journals dedicated to law in Brazil, and has been extremely successful in bringing tradition and innovation together. Indeed, for more than sixty years it has been respectful to its past, as well as a place to discuss innovative concepts and ideas. This makes it distinguished, not only due to its exceptional quality, coming from its wide experience, but also due to its open-minded thought and will to get in touch with original propositions. This remarkable uniqueness is recognized and classified by Qualis¹ as B1 – LAW (CAPES – rating of scientific journals – ). ¹ Qualis is a set of procedures used by Capes (Brazilian Federal Agency for the Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education) for stratifying the quality of intellectual output of postgraduate programs.
