Description - Journal of Environmental Analysis and Progress-JEAP is an interdisciplinary quarterly magazine of the Biology Department of the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (Brazil). JEAP is an open access journal, and all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium are permitted, provided the author and the journal are appropriately credited. The objective is to disseminate interdisciplinary information on environmental analysis that contributes to the development of science and improve the life quality of people. JEAP publishes papers in all areas related with the environment, including vegetation, interaction plant-animal, pharmacobotany, ethnobotany, ecology, biotechnology, remote sensing, climatology, aquatic biota, and anthropogenic influence, reflecting results of analysis and progress relevant to academic and scientific areas. The main interests are Ecological Applications, Applied Technology, Economic Botany (including Pharmacobotany and Ethnobotany), Society and Nature, and Environmental Geotechnology.
