Description - Indonesian Journal of Medicine (IJM) is an international fully online, open-access, double blind and peer-reviewed journal in the area of general medicine. It began its publication on August 20, 2015. The journal is published three times yearly. IJM aims to promote the science and art of medicine and the betterment of the population health. IJM publishes original research articles in biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, community medicine, and medical education that translates scientific discoveries into practical applications. It publishes evidence-based, scientifically justified, and ethical research into all aspects of medicine. IJM also welcomes systematic review papers and research in practice, to help doctors make better decisions in the clinic and in research, public health, and health policy settings. IJM recognizes the limited availability of high quality medical journals for authors in resource-limited settings to publish their research work. Medical issues impacting populations in the developing world are currently under-documented and underreported in the existing international peer-reviewed journals. Therefore we encourage authors from developing countries to submit their research papers in this journal. All of the papers published are freely available as downloadable pdf files. IJM is currently abstracted and indexed in Crossref (with DOI for each article), CABI’s Global Health, BASE, Google Scholar, OAIster (OCLC/ WorldCat), and Indonesian Publication Index (IPI). We are making efforts to get it indexed in even broader international databases
